On 01 October 2020, HERAS Plus project team met with the Rector Agron Bajraktari and the Vice-Rector Bujar Pira of the University of Applied Science in Ferizaj (UASF).

HERAS Plus Team Leader, Mr. Aqim Emurli, introduced the project team and presented the project focus areas. Mr. Emurli noted that the project aims at supporting the development of UASF by working to build capacities of the University to strategically plan and implement activities, organize, manage and conduct quality assurance, as well as engage in the research and applied science projects in line with best practices of EHEA. Further, Mr. Emurli provided an overview of the main activities and development measures that are proposed to be undertaken in close collaboration with UASF.

Both the Rector Bajraktari and the Vice-Rector Pira, expressed their interest in cooperating with the Project Team in the course of project implementation. They noted that Austrian projects have consistently and effectively supported the development of UASF from the very beginning and that they are happy that this cooperation is continuing through HERAS Plus project.
